RETScreen at EastPoint
EastPoint uses the RETScreen Expert software as an important part of our energy analysis and project development work. As a made-in-Canada platform developed with the support of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), RETScreen Expert gives us a trusted, data-driven way to evaluate energy efficiency, renewable energy, and decarbonization opportunities. For our clients, this is especially valuable because it helps us assess project feasibility, estimate energy and cost savings, quantify emissions reductions, and support confident decision-making.

Over the past three years, we have used RETScreen Expert to:

RETScreen is a clean energy management and analysis software platform developed by Natural Resources Canada. It supports benchmarking, feasibility analysis, performance tracking, and portfolio analysis for energy, financial, and emissions decision-making.

Practical Application
The following example is taken from a Heat Pump Optimization project completed for a Federal Government client.
Using RETScreen, the report was prepared to highlight key findings on electricity consumption over a period of time under specific conditions, location based climate date including daily solar radiation, comparisons of predicted energy use and actual, as well as comparisons between temperature and outside temperature.
