The latest BIM technology transforms building design into the Virtual Reality age. At EastPoint we have the tools and people required to build a digitally enhanced world. A three-dimensional BIM model is an accurate digital twin of the physical space that the real building will or does occupy. Using the latest technologies, using 3D Laser scanners, registering point cloud data, modeling in 3D, and conducting VR walkthroughs allows our design teams to fully interact with the spaces we design. This provides the design teams the ability to plan, design new; and upgrade infrastructure with minimal time on site; and with a high degree of accuracy. Once a project is complete the record that these BIM models contain gives extraordinary capabilities to building owners for space planning, Facility Management, Asset Management, and future construction.

During our initial discovery phase, we collect data with a series of portable 3D laser scanners supported by Augmented Reality (AR) technology. This data enhances our design accuracy and allows us to work from one office with high amounts of collaboration.

BIM helps EastPoint realize better results when we’re working with our clients and raises the bar when it comes to design sophistication.

Maritime Link Converter Stations

As part of a $600 million endeavor, EastPoint was hired by ABB to support the design of two buildings at the converter station.

Sustane Technologies

EastPoint was hired as the prime consultant by Sustane Technologies Inc. (Sustane) to design a new facility which Sustane would own.

North Park Armoury

Working with the DND ,Eastpoint was proud to partner for the revitalization of this historic property

Halifax Harbour Bridges

EastPoint’s Technology team used 3D liDAR scanners to create complete, photorealistic, intensely accurate recreations of the bridges for Asset Management purposes
