Where we started

Eight people. A corner of the 15th floor at 1801 Hollis Street. A few desks—and even a fancy fax machine! Initially focused on mechanical and structural work, EastPoint arose from a desire to make a meaningful impact in our field.

Preferring independence and a more personal approach over the scale of larger corporations, EastPoint’s founders sought a workplace defined by togetherness and a culture where everyone mattered. In fact, the name ‘EastPoint’ emerged over a game of golf, reflecting our commitment to a workplace built on camaraderie and fun.

Where we are

Over the last 20 years, we’ve grown to become a full architecture and engineering service firm—now occupying two floors at our office. A lot has changed in our industry since we started, and will continue to evolve: think climate change, social values, and technological progress, which shape a new context impacting our communities and built environment. We’ve developed our service capabilities to meet these emerging challenges and opportunities.

Where we’re going

Despite the complexity in which we operate, the core of who we are and how we approach our work at EastPoint will remain steadfast as we journey forward: focus on people, build relationships, and have candid conversations to learn what matters and how we can best support our clients. We’ll continue to refine our processes for sustainable growth, rooted in hiring great people, working for great clients, and producing great work.
